Meet our Board of Directors

  • Jessica Lee

Jessica is an experienced financial professional currently working in Corporate Development at Hewlett-Packard, Inc. In her role, she is a key contributor to the evaluation and execution of strategic technology acquisition opportunities for HP Inc. Previously, she worked at J.P. Morgan as a Mergers & Acquisition Investment Banker and at Barclays as a Merger Arbitrage Equities Trader. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

  • Laura Beving

Laura grew up on and still owns a farm in Northwest Iowa. She learned early the importance of careful stewardship; implementing conservation and regenerative practices to enhance the land. Laura has been an ardent organic gardener all of her adult life, passing on her practices to her friends and family. She is excited to share the glories of growing and preserving their own food with the folks in Gresham. Recently retired, Laura spent 30 years providing workforce and career development services for both government and non-profit agencies. She hopes that many of the skills acquired in her professional life will translate well to the Thimbleberry Collaborative Farm.

  • Brigette Agcaoili-Muñoz

Born and raised in Waipahu, Hawaii, Brigette moved to Portland in 2012 to attend college. She has been working with Camp Fire Columbia as the Youth Development Site Manager for 5 years, primarily working with Reynolds High School students through mentoring and advocacy. Through her work and with Thimbleberry, she wants to be sure that students are given the opportunity to explore and have access to healthy foods and nature. Her favorite hobby is playing soccer, and when she has the chance, attending Portland Thorns games. In her free time, she likes to take her daughter to visit new parks and nature trails.

  • Talia Hack-Davie Stein

Talia has spent her adult life educating children outdoors. From the towering redwoods and teeming tidepools of Northern California,  to the verdant farms and gardens in California's Central Valley, to wild backpacking adventures with teens throughout the Northwest and Alaska, she has found her passion sharing her love of nature with children. Talia has led students in nature immersion and ecology lessons, taught 4th & 5th grade science and school garden curriculum, facilitated cooking classes for 1st-8th graders, and worked as a Waldorf Preschool teacher. She has volunteered on many small farms over the years, getting her hands dirty planting seeds and starts, weeding, harvesting, and managing CSA's.  Talia has made her home in NE Portland for the past 14 years, raising three daughters, tending a mini backyard homestead full of fruit trees, berries, veggies, flowers and chickens, and completing her Master Gardener Certification. She is currently working as the Auxiliary Program Coordinator and Front Office Assistant at Cedarwood Waldorf School in Portland, coordinating creative after school programs and summer camps for the school. In her free time, she enjoys wilderness rafting trips and international travel with her family.  She is so excited to continue supporting her love of farming and education as a Board Member at Thimbleberry Collaborative Farm.
